Walking/Hiking
The best months for walking are: March, April, May, June and end September, October and November. The Maltese landscape offers rich rewards for those who enjoy exploring: interests in ancient and modern history, military and ecclesiastical architecture, geology, and flora are all well catered for. If this will be your first visit to the Maltese Islands, you are guaranteed a perfect introduction if you sample a few of our walks and tours available within walking distance from the Hotel RIU Seabank & Spa. We are offering our guests two options as in regards to hiking; you can either join in guided hiking tours with our partner in Mellieha - Hiking in Malta / Wandern auf Malta or do your individual walks for which we are offering you the below mentioned options. Guided tours with Hiking in Malta / Wanders auf Malta are only available during the winter months. 
Ghadira - Bird Sanctuary - Armier Bay – Marfa DISTANCE: 6.2 miles/10 km TIME : 2hr 40 mins This walk is about landscapes and environments ranging from relative isolation to typical Maltese holiday spots. An added bonus is the exploration of the northernmost beaches of Malta, with views of Comino. | | Selmun Palace - Mistra Bay To Xemxija DISTANCE: 5 miles/8 km TIME: 2hr 10 mins On this walk we discover an Italian Palace, a British fort, a Portuguese redoubt and much more.
